Day 1 : Port Blair India
You will be received at the domestic airport of Port Blair and assisted
to your hotel. After a leisurely breakfast, Move out for a day long sightseeing
tour of the city that includes, Cellular Jail, Chatam Saw Mill (considered
as one of the oldest & largest in the whole Asia), Forest Museum, Mini
Zoo, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum & Samudrika (Naval
Marine Museum). After lunch, visit the Science Centre, the Andaman Water
Sports Complex for adventure water sports like water-skiing, speed boats,
water scooters, tube rides, etc & the Gandhi Park. In the evening drive
to Corbyn’s Cove Beach - 9 kms from Port Blair - a coconut palm fringed
beach.
Day 2 : Port Blair Tour
In the morning move out for a full-day excursion to Jolly Buoy (Coral) Island
(about 50 kms from Port Blair) in the M. G. Marine National Park, Wandoor
- to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and
other marine life by exclusive glass bottomed boat. Option available for
Snorkeling. On the way, we'll see the Sippighat Agricultural Farm.
Day 3 : Port Blair
After a leisurely breakfast, visit Ross Island - from where the Britishers
governed this entire Andaman & Nicobar lslands, before to India’s Independence.
In the afternoon, visit Chidiya Tapu - about 31 kms by road from Port Blair.
It’s generally known as the bird island - where lush green mangroves and
beautiful beach with Beautiful sunset view, creates a mesmerizing environment.
Day 4 : Havelock
Early morning departure (6.00 am) by inter-island ferry to Havelock Island
(57 kms by sea from Port Blair). Stay overnight in Havelock at Jungle Resort
- right next to Radhanagar Beach. Option available for Snorkeling, Scuba
Diving, Motor Cycling, Fishing, etc.
Day 5 : Port Blair
Return from Havelock Island in the afternoon & transfer to hotel in
Port Blair.
Day 6 : Port Blair
In the morning move out to visit Mount Harriet – the 2nd highest peak (365
meters high) in the Andamans, which offers a magnificent birds eye view
of Port Blair’s adjoining islands. From here one can trek for about 5 Kms
to Kalapatthar, through a nature’s trial of exotic flora and fauna, endemic
birds and butterflies. In the afternoon, visit the Cottage Industry Emporium
(Sagarika) - for Shopping & Souvenirs. In the evening at 6.00 pm, attend
the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic
saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.
Day 7 : Departure
After a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to the domestic airport
of Port Blair for the further journey the tour ends.
