City Palace

City Palace is the most amazing place to see in Udaipur. Sajjan Garh Palace

Sajjan Garh Palace is also known as Monsoon Palace, it is great to see this place in rainy season is the most amazing thing one can do while there Udaipur trip. Sajjan Garh is a palace on the hilltop in the most beautiful city in India, Udaipur. Sajjan Garh Palace was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh  (1874-1884) in 1884 this is the only reason to name this fort as Sajjan Garh. This Monsoon Palace will experience a beautiful view of the sunset. High in the Aravalli Hills, just outside Udaipur, the Palace is illuminated in the evenings, giving a glow of golden orange. Timing to visit this beautiful Sajjan Garh Palace is from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm entry fees is rupees 80.

 

Bagore Ki Haveli 

Bagore Ki Haveli is located at Gangori Ghat, on the banks of Lake Pichola. Bangor ki Haveli was built by Amir Chand Badwa in the year of 1874. The architecture and the interior of Bagore Ki Haveli will definitely delight your eyes, all the walls covered by the Mewar painting of their kings and queens. Glass and mirror interior inside the Bagore Ki Haveli is the bestest part to see in it and at present it has more than 100 rooms along with balconies and courtyards. The best time to visit Bagore Ki Haveli is from 10:00 am – 05:30 pm and entry fees is rupees 60.

Lake Palace Udaipur

Lake Palace Udaipur is the center of attraction of Udaipur. Lakes Palace was situated on an island of Jag Niwas in Lake Pichola. Lake Palace was built by Maharana Jagat Singh II in between 1743 and 1746. Lake Palace is now also converted in Taj Lake Palace Hotel which is running by Taj group of hotels, in 1971 Taj Hotels Resorts and Palace took over management of the hotel. Taj Lake Palace is one of the most amazing and expensive hotel in India. The best time to visit Lake Palace Udaipur is from 09:00 am – 08:30 pm and entry fees is rupees 110.

Jag Mandir Palace

Jag Mandir Palace is very well known as Lake Garden Palace built on Lake Pichola. The construction of the palace was started in 1551 by Maharana Amar Singh, continued by Maharana Karan Singh and finally completed by Maharana Jagat Singh I. That is why this palace was named as Jag Mandir Palace because it was completed by Maharana Jagat Singh I. This palace was for the royal families parties and normally royal families used to come there in summers as it is built on lake.
