The Mahabodhi Temple, located in Bodh Gaya, is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. The temple complex also includes the Bodhi tree, the Vajrasana, and the Animesh Lochana Chaitya.

Haridwar – Gateway to the Gods

Haridwar is another holy city located in the northern state of Uttarakhand. It’s known as the “Gateway to the Gods” and is believed to be one of the seven holiest places in Hinduism. Haridwar is home to the Har Ki Pauri Ghat, which is considered the most sacred spot in the city. It’s also the site of the Kumbh Mela, a major Hindu festival that takes place every 12 years.

Rishikesh – Yoga Capital of the World

RishikeshRishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and is known as the “Yoga Capital of the World.” It’s also the place where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. Rishikesh is home to numerous yoga and meditation centers, as well as several ashrams. It’s also the site of the famous Beatles Ashram, where the band members stayed and wrote music in the late 1960s.
