Gujarat Tourism

The Gujarat region has the capital city of Gandhinagar although the largest city is Ahmedabad was the former capital of the state, and is the sixth largest city in the whole India.

It has about 51 million inhabitants and an area of 196,024 square kilometers. Its official language is Gujarati which is spoken by 91 % of the population , speaking Hindi rest , Marathi and Urdu among others. 89% of the population is Hindu and vegans , 9% Muslim , and a few Jains and Sikhs.
